Terms of use

The site

Spades Court is a free, rated solo spades server in beta, run by Vladimir Marinov, Bulgaria. Using the site, with or without an account, means accepting these terms.

Your account

One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your login. You must be 16 or older.

You can close your account at any time: Account, then Delete account.

Fair play

The ratings are the point of the site. Not allowed: playing with more than one account, arranging results with other players, using software to play or to advise you during a match, or any other way to move ratings dishonestly. The bots at a table are the site's own, and a match with a bot is unrated. A table can also be created unrated; an unrated match counts for nothing and leaves no record.

Your content

Your About text and picture must be yours to use and fit for everyone: no abuse, no nudity, no advertising, no impersonation. By uploading a picture or an About text you let the site store it and show it on your profile. Staff review pictures before they are shown and may remove any text or picture without notice.

Moderation

Staff may restrict or ban an account that breaks these terms. Write to [email protected] if you think a decision is wrong.

Beta

The site is provided as it is. A match can be lost to an outage, a rating can be corrected after a bug, features can change or go away, and the site may close. We give no warranty. Our liability is limited to what the law does not allow us to exclude.

Law

Bulgarian law applies. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes

These terms change when the site does. The date at the top is the last change. Playing after a change means accepting the new terms.
